FETPAC Through the Years: Our Impact Since 2019
At Feed the People at Christmas (FETPAC), we believe in the power of giving and the joy of community. Each year, we work tirelessly to bring smiles to the faces of underprivileged children and families through warm meals, essential supplies, and fun-filled Christmas celebrations. Here’s a look at how far we’ve come, one Christmas at a time.
2019: The Beginning of a Movement
Our journey started in Kosofe, Mile 12, Lagos, where we hosted the first-ever FETPAC outreach. With a dedicated team of volunteers, we:
✅ Fed over 150 children, ensuring they didn’t go hungry on Christmas Day.
✅ Distributed clothes, books, stationery, and toiletries to those in need.
✅ Created a safe space for children to celebrate, laugh, and enjoy the holiday spirit.
This marked the start of something much bigger than we imagined!
2020: Expanding Our Reach
Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, we knew that children needed us more than ever. So, we expanded our outreach to two locations:
📍 Optimal Orphanage Home, Magodo: We provided books, candies, toiletries, and food to children at the orphanage.
📍 Onigbongbo, Maryland, Lagos – We distributed relief packages to struggling families and provided food, clothing, and school supplies to children.
We also ensured strict COVID-19 safety measures, proving that nothing could stop the spirit of giving!
2021: Growing Bigger & Better
This year, we took our mission to Wasimi, Maryland, Lagos, where we impacted over 450 children by:
✅ Providing hot meals, drinks, school supplies, and party packs.
✅ Hosting a fun-filled Christmas party with games and activities.
✅ Partnering with Worm Free Zone, a health NGO, to deworm the children and promote better health.
With each year, our impact was growing, and so was our commitment to the cause
2022: Spreading Joy Amid Economic Challenges
Despite economic difficulties, our team pushed forward and brought smiles to over 300 children in Ikola Ipaja, Lagos. We:
✅ Hosted a lively Christmas celebration with food, music, and games.
✅ Distributed party packs filled with school supplies, clothes, toiletries, and snacks.
✅ Created unforgettable memories with face painting, interactive games, and fun activities.
Every challenge made us stronger, and the support from our donors and volunteers kept us going!
2023: Reaching the Underserved in Oworonshoki
This year, we took our outreach to a slum community in Oworonshoki, Lagos, where we found families in desperate need of support. Our impact included:
✅ Feeding over 400 children and providing them with educational supplies and clothing.
✅ Organizing games, fun activities, and even free haircuts for the first 50 kids.
✅ Ensuring volunteers also participated in activities to keep the Christmas spirit alive!
Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces was all the motivation we needed to keep pushing forward.
2024: Breaking Records, Same Location, Bigger Impact!
Returning to Oworonshoki, Lagos, we were determined to make an even greater impact than in 2023. And we did just that!
✅ More meals, more supplies, and more smiles!
✅ An increased number of children served, ensuring no one was left behind.
✅ Bigger community participation, with volunteers, sponsors, and partners coming together to make the event a huge success.
This year proved that when we come together, we can change lives on a larger scale!
Looking Ahead: FETPAC’s Vision for the Future
Every year, we reach more children, provide more meals, and create lasting Christmas memories for families in need. But we’re not stopping here. Our vision is to:
